The 6mm channel ring is available in a choice of stainless steel, titanium, or tungsten carbide. Each metal offers its own unique benefits, making the selection a personal choice based on your preferences. This width also comes with the option of a bevelled or flat edge—please refer to the images to compare the two styles.

Material: Stainless steel/ Titanium/ Tungsten carbide (separate listing for silver)

I will personally fill the channel with your inclusion and chosen colour. Please note colours can vary and cannot be exactly replicated due to many factors including differences in screens and then again in person/natural light. Cremains themselves also vary greatly in colour and again can affect the overall colour/finish. This is one of the many reasons that make it so unique and special!

Ring size

Please take care to order the correct size, as rings cannot be resized once they have been made.

Please note that due to sizing mandrel tolerances, how far the ring is placed on the sizer, the sizing method used, and how the sizer is read, finished rings may vary by up to one UK ring size (approximately half a US size) either smaller or larger than requested.

Please see the FAQ's for any questions you may have.

Frequently asked questions

  • Only a small amount is required, a little goes a long way.

    • Cremation ashes: Around ¼ teaspoon is usually sufficient
    • Hair or fur: This depends on the design. Smaller settings need short snips, while channel rings may use slightly longer strands. Whatever you have available will usually work
    • Breastmilk: Approximately 10ml is recommended, although less can often be used if needed

Please avoid sending all of your inclusions. It’s always best to keep a small amount back for peace of mind. If you’re unsure, feel free to get in touch and I’ll be happy to help.

  • Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive clear instructions on how to safely send your inclusions by post. Please ensure everything is securely packaged and clearly labelled.

If needed, I can provide an inclusions sending kit. This includes a small pot for ashes, tubes for breastmilk, or sealable bags for hair or fur, along with return address details to make posting simple and secure.

Due to the precious nature of these inclusions, I strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service when sending them. This provides peace of mind and allows both of us to monitor delivery safely.

  • All finished orders are securely packaged and returned to you by post. This ensures your piece is protected during transit and allows us to provide a consistent service for all customers. Tracked delivery is used for peace of mind, and you’ll receive details once your order has been dispatched.

If you are local and would prefer to collect, this may be possible by prior arrangement. Please contact me before selecting this option so we can confirm a suitable time.

  • Your inclusions are always treated with the utmost care and respect. Any unused materials, such as hair, ashes, or other inclusions, will be carefully returned to you with your finished piece.

The only exception is preserved breastmilk, where a small amount may be securely stored as a backup for repairs, replacements, or if you decide to order an additional piece in the future.

Nothing is ever discarded, and any inclusions that have been mixed with resin will also be returned where possible. It’s always recommended to keep a small portion of your inclusions as a backup for peace of mind.

  • Turnaround times can vary slightly depending on postage times, custom components, and engraving requirements.

Once your inclusions have been received, most pieces are completed within 7–10 working days.

Items containing breastmilk may occasionally require a little additional preparation time, usually around 2-3 weeks, but this will be confirmed with you when your inclusions arrive.

If you have a special deadline, please feel free to let me know. I will always do my best to accommodate where possible.

  • If you’re unsure of your ring size, I can include a ring sizer in your inclusions kit. Once you’ve measured your size, simply return it along with your inclusions. A small charge may apply if the ring sizer is not returned.

Alternatively, you can have your finger measured at a local jeweller, which is often the most accurate option.

  • Sometimes silver, grey or white hair or fur appears that colour due to losing pigment and therefore it can't be seen in resin. You can check by putting a bit in a glass of water; if you can see it through the side of the glass then it's possible it will be visible in the resin.

What colour background would you recommend?

Hair tends to stand out best against a smooth background. Dark hair shows beautifully on lighter tones, while lighter hair can blend into pale backgrounds. If you have enough, I’m happy to create a test cast so you can see how it may look.
